Protein Assay

  • Rebuilt the plate workflow as a side-by-side workbench with a spreadsheet-style grid, Excel paste, and live curve results. Methods and dilution planning now have their own tabs.
  • Import a full plate-reader CSV or an Excel plate copy, choose your group's columns, and fill the assay grid with a preview of the detected wells.
  • Switch the plate labels between Bradford (A595) and BCA (A562), and open the published Bradford and BCA protocols from the tool.

  • Enter triplicate A595 readings for Bradford standards and unknowns to get the blank-corrected curve, slope, intercept and R², with a pass mark at 0.98.
  • Unknowns are back-calculated with their dilution factor; values outside the standard range, or from a curve below 0.98, are marked as not reportable.
  • When R² falls short, the tool points to the likely cause: a bending top standard, one outlying point, or uneven replicate wells.
